On September 21st will be our Riding for Gold Rodeo for childhood cancer.

On October 11th in Midland will be Tough Enough for Pink rodeo

******************************************************

The state board has asked us not to have a rodeo during the October 18 and 19 dates
due to the state meeting will be held at that date every year, the last 2 years we have had it at that time anyway,
we have had our state delegates  at the meeting and have gotten along ok.
This year the state board is sponsoring a rodeo for the top 3 kids in each event
(from last year) in each region with $15,000 in added money.

In the years past it has effected no one except our delegate members,
now it is effecting our kids making them choose between a region rodeo
and a possible once in a lifetime rodeo, the board has elected to drop the Andrews rodeo
for this year but next year’s Andrews date will be in September.

We feel this is the best decision for the future of Region 2
we apologize for any additional stress this may cause
but we will still have our 10 regular season rodeos plus our finals.

Thank you,
Kenny Stewart
