About Region II

Region II of the Texas High School Rodeo Association is dedicated to providing student-athletes with opportunities to compete, grow, and succeed both inside and outside the arena.

Our members come from across West Texas, bringing together a shared passion for rodeo, agriculture, horsemanship, and the western way of life. Through competition, leadership opportunities, and lifelong friendships, Region II helps prepare young men and women for success far beyond rodeo.

Each season, contestants compete for the opportunity to advance to the Texas High School Rodeo Association State Finals, where they have the chance to earn a spot on Team Texas and represent our state at the National High School Finals Rodeo.

Beyond competition, Region II is committed to developing responsibility, sportsmanship, leadership, and character while preserving the traditions and values that make rodeo unique.
